NZ International Arts Festival – Brand Identity/Campaign

The New Zealand International Arts Festival is New Zealand's premiere cultural event and one of the leading multi-arts festivals in the world. Clemenger BBDO has been a Gold sponsor for this event over the past two festivals, Di as their Senior Designer at the time, had the pleasure of creating the third with the festival client. So, once every two years New Zealand’s harbour capital – Wellington, transforms into one of the world’s great festival cities. For three weeks the festival buzz is exhilarating and addictive for locals and visitors who take part in this journey of discovery.The 2010 campaign was no exception, celebrating our ability to imagine, explore and experience our world through art. See in new ways. Creating a world of ‘out of the box’ performances that expressed the impressive line up of excellence and innovation the event was delivering. It was fantastic to see the work around the city and the creative come alive on the web by Springload and on the television screen by Sauce. 290,000 people participated in over 300 events performed by over 1000 artists from 35 countries. The festival delivered outside the box, or you could say one out of the box, and many box office hits!
